Water Management and Rural Development in Central Asia and the Caucasus -Mike Thurman is a world traveller and all around smart guy. The only one in his family with both a PHD and a couple of hundred Grateful Dead shows under his belt, I've been learning stuff from him about Central Asia for years now. We all need to be more involved and informed about the world around us. This guy's a great resource if you're looking to expand your knowledge base on environmental issues and stuff like that.
